XXL accreditation passes for the EuroVision Song Contest in Rotterdam

The Eurovision Song Contest is the biggest music show in the world. Last year the event had to be cancelled unfortunately due to the pandemic. So this year, for the fourth time in a (somewhat interupted row) the proven XXL cards with integrated RFID chip from Pe2M were used. The event and communication specialist Riedel from Wuppertal in Germany managed the accreditation system on site in the Netherlands.

The pre-printed ID cards of around 12,000 participants (artists, technicians, journalists, etc.) and VIPs were individually personalized each within a few seconds. Due to their extra-large format, the cards were easily recognizable by the security staff and offer enough space for additional information, for example organizational and legal information.

The world’s largest music competition offered viewers a show of the highest order. An estimated 140 million people around the world will watch the mega event on television.

Be it a music concert, a sports event or a trade fair: Pe2M supports event organizers in their organizational and technical challenges with modern tailor-made ID systems.
